Meet Valpo’s First American Physiological Society (APS) Fellow
After 10 weeks of intensive research, Ethiopian biochemistry student Sara Tewoldemedhin '26 has officially finished the summer portion of her Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) with the American Physiological Society (APS). Her muse: NKCC1 – a critical compound for chloride-driven fluid secretion in the human body.
Tyler Eberhart ’24, ’25 MBA, Is A Beacon of Servant-Leadership
Tyler Eberhart ’24, ’25 MBA, started his Valpo experience as a promising offensive lineman for Valpo Football in our mechanical engineering program. Now, he’s kicking off his fifth year as a student-athlete pursuing his master of business administration (MBA) from the College of Business – and with the comeback story of a lifetime.
Valpo Students Take On Valuable Research With Space Grant Funding
This summer, dedicated faculty and students began six intensive research initiatives founded by over $100,000 in Indiana Space Grant Consortium funding. While many of the projects focused on the health and safety of astronauts, topics ranged from circadian cycles, candida albicans fungus, gaseous molecules from among the stars, and more.
